The Hospitality & Room Division Management Study Program is a Diploma IV vocational education or equivalent to an applied bachelor’s degree. This applied Diploma IV program is able to develop students’ knowledge, skills and attitudes in improving international qualifications in the field of Hospitality and Room Division. The Hospitality & Room Division Management study program can also develop global competitiveness competencies, mastery of problem solving, innovation in the field and an entrepreneurial spirit. This program can be completed in 8 semesters. Students can also take an internship program for two periods on an international scale according to the academic year planned by the Batam Tourism Polytechnic.

STRATEGIES

  • Building a human resource development and training center, as well as complete facilities and infrastructure in stages according to the needs and scientific developments in the Hospitality & Room Division Management.
  • Develop a curriculum that is in synergy with industry and is guided by the Indonesian National Job Qualifications (KKNI) and organizes an adaptive, communicative, transparent and innovative learning process
  • Facilitate lecturers to design and carry out research according to their expertise group, with internal and external funding support.
  • Facilitate lecturers to design and carry out community service according to their expertise group, with funding support from both internal and external sources.
  • Building a network of domestic and international collaboration with industry, institutions, agencies and community organizations to design, build and carry out collaboration in the Hospitality & Room Division sector.
  • Providing facilities and infrastructure as well as business incubator programs for students with internal and external funding.
