Batam Tourism Polytechnic students have completed 6 months of Job Training at the Intercontinental Hotel Doha, Qatar for the period July 2018 – January 2019. For 6 months abroad, students gain international experience, because they have work partners in a multinational environment and adjust to customs and culture of other countries. In addition, overseas training automatically takes students out of their comfort zones and needs to adapt to new environments and work environments that they may never have faced. another thing they can do is get to know and learn the culture of a country by jumping directly into their expertise in the international world. Through the Training program abroad, they have the opportunity to get along and get to know new friends, learn languages, culture, and habits that are often done by local communities.
